Why we exist
We started Zonify.ai because we believed physical spaces were flying blind. Every day, millions of people walk through shopping centers, airports, and retail stores, but the teams running those spaces had very little idea of how visitors actually moved through them, what they engaged with, or where things could be improved. Most were relying on basic entrance counters or intuition.
We set out to change that by doing something simple: connecting to the security cameras that already exist in virtually every building and using AI to turn that footage into real, actionable spatial intelligence — all without storing a single face, and without needing any new hardware.
Today, our platform helps leasing managers, retail operators, and commercial teams understand exactly how their spaces perform — and what to do about it. We combine research-level computer vision with a product built for the people making decisions on the ground.
What we stand by
Privacy is non-negotiable
We designed our system from day one so it never captures or stores images of individuals. All video is processed locally and converted into anonymous movement data in milliseconds. GDPR compliance is not a feature — it is the foundation.
Use what already exists
Every building we work with already has cameras. We connect to the ones you own, and we turn them into a spatial intelligence layer without any rip-and-replace projects, on-site visits, or additional hardware costs.
Research and product move together
Our team publishes work on computer vision and synthetic training data at the same time as we ship production features. We think real AI companies have to do both well.
Decisions should be grounded in data
We exist to replace gut feeling with evidence — for leasing, for layout, for staffing, for campaigns. The faster our customers can get to that evidence, the more useful we are.
Where we are
Our headquarters are in Kongens Lyngby, just north of Copenhagen, Denmark. We are close to DTU — the Technical University of Denmark — which has been an important partner in our research work. From here, we serve customers across Northern and Central Europe.
